        Prevention
There are several methods to prevent TB transmission:

            - Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine
- TB education towards TB patients
- Use of masks and respirators
- Precaution action cough etiquette
Treatment
There are a few types of treatment for TB:

            -
(Latent TB) Using Isoniazid antibiotic pill daily for at least 9 months as ordered by the doctor.
However, Rifampin is an alternative antibiotic pill to be taken daily for at least 4 months.

-
(TB Disease) There are four medications used for this which are Ethambutol, Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, and
Rifampin. The doctor will run a test on the patient to determine which antibiotics is effective towards
                the TB bacteria.

-
(Drug-Resistant TB) Some of the TB bacteria is mutated and hence they are resistant to antibiotics. New
antibiotic is introduced to cure this but takes longer time which is Fluoroquinolones. Other medications
are introduced as well such as Amikacin, Capreomycin, Kanamycin, Bedaquiline, Ethionamide, and
Para-amino salicylic acid. Scientists are still studying these medicines.
